Poppy Gooderick | Senior Womenswear Designer
I’m a Senior Womenswear Designer with over 12 years of experience working with premium fashion and activewear brands across Europe and internationally.
I work across womenswear categories, with a strong foundation in knitwear. My approach combines creative direction and hands-on design with a clear understanding of how individual products need to work within the wider collection.
HOW I WORK
I work closely with in-house design teams, helping them understand what is already working, identify what is missing, and develop collections with greater clarity and consistency.
Depending on the project, I can contribute through hands-on design and development or take a broader view of the collection’s structure and direction. I enjoy working as a collaborative partner, bringing fresh ideas and structure while adapting to the needs and ways of working of each team.
I also have extensive experience collaborating with creative directors, product developers, merchandisers, factories, yarn suppliers and mills across Europe, Asia and the USA.

STUDIO + COLLABORATION
I’m based in Amsterdam and work both in-studio with design teams and remotely from my own studio.
My studio holds an extensive archive of knit-downs, yarn books, colour references and samples built over more than a decade in the industry. This allows me to work remotely at a senior level while remaining closely connected to the design and development process.
I’m available for freelance and project-based collaborations in Amsterdam and across Europe.
